Welcome to our new Community page, which highlights Swansea Studios tenants educational projects and workshops.

Many artists here work part-time and voluntarily in art galleries, schools and other educational establishments. Teaching or running workshops with children, adults, teachers, refugees and other artists. This transferring of skills, knowledge and expertise makes a very important contribution to the community and there are many cultural, social and educational benefits.

Pupils from Tregwyr Junior School in Gowerton have taken part in a workshop about the Second World War run by Mari Hayman.

The pupils have begun to paint a mural dedicated to this dark period in Swansea's history. The finished mural will be displayed at Swansea Museum as part of a series of educational events and workshops about the Three Night Blitz.
